Didactic preparation. As part of psychological and pedagogical preparation, the student will acquire knowledge:

forming the foundation for pedagogical activities (for example, this will include courses in: General Philosophy, Sociology, Introduction to Pedagogy, General Didactics, Educational and Developmental Pedagogy, and Educational Policy);

related to the specifics of the preschool and early school environment (courses will include, among others, Theoretical Foundations of Preschool and Early School Pedagogy, and Integration in Child Education

allowing for the understanding of the psychological conditions of human development and behavior (Developmental Psychology, Educational Psychology, and Psychology of Motivational Processes).

Subject-specific preparation for teaching will consolidate knowledge in subjects relevant to preschool and early school education (e.g., Polish language, mathematics, music, art, nature studies, and others). Didactic preparation (including methodological) involves acquiring competencies for effective teaching of selected content and education (e.g., Methodology of Mathematics Education, Polish Language Education, Science Education, etc.) and their integration.
Among the learning outcomes achieved during the studies in this program is also acquiring knowledge and skills in supporting child development and working with children with special educational needs. Professional internships play a particularly important role during the studies. Their implementation allows for gaining experience, practicing acquired skills under the supervision of experienced educators and teachers, and encountering the future work environment.
