Practical skills are developed through intensive training in specialized labs and during clinical classes and professional internships held in hospital wards. After completing a bachelor's degree, nurses have broad opportunities for professional development. Nursing specializations and qualification courses allow for the acquisition of additional skills and competencies. Master's studies and a rich offering of postgraduate programs enable nurses to embark on scientific and teaching careers and to work in the organization of the healthcare system.

During their studies, students acquire thorough knowledge in human anatomy and physiology, microbiology, genetics, and radiology basics of nursing care. The course schedule includes afternoon classes on Thursdays and Fridays, as well as weekend sessions on Saturdays and Sundays. All classes take place in labs located in Nowy Tomyśl, as well as in district hospitals, long-term care facilities, and primary healthcare centers. As part of specialized courses, students learn about nursing in internal medicine, surgery, psychiatry, and neurology.
