The completion of studies and obtaining the professional title of doctor requires passing all exams and credits specified in the study program.
General-Academic Profile
This program provides a comprehensive education for undertaking a 13-month post-graduate internship and preparing for the Medical Final Exam (LEK).
Mode of Study
The Medical Program is conducted in full-time format (day studies).

Program Description
On April 13, 2023, the Minister of Education and Science, Prof. Dr. Hab. Przemysław Czarnek, granted the Poznań Medical Academy named after Prince Mieszko I permission to establish integrated master's studies with a general-academic profile in the "medical" field.
During the first three years, students will acquire theoretical knowledge in medical sciences (including anatomy, histology, embryology, biophysics, molecular biology, biochemistry with elements of chemistry, physiology with elements of clinical physiology, cytophysiology, genetics, microbiology, immunology, pathomorphology, pharmacology with toxicology, and elements of pathophysiology). After gaining this foundational knowledge, students will proceed to learn about basic clinical disciplines: pediatrics, internal medicine, psychiatry, infectious diseases, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics with traumatology, urology, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, gynecology, and obstetrics.
Recruitment Rules
Recruitment for the Medical Program begins on March 1, 2024.
Recruitment for the Medical Program begins on March 1, 2024. All interested individuals (even those without a high school diploma) may submit their applications. To reserve a place, an application for admission and a non-refundable registration fee of 2,200 PLN must be paid to the Recruitment Office.
The number of places is limited. Recruitment may close earlier if all places are filled.
Candidates for admission should have:

Positive results from the high school exam, Solid knowledge in biology, chemistry, and physics at the high school level,

High personal culture,
-
Awareness of the social responsibility associated with the medical profession.
If candidates have equal scores, the Recruitment Committee will consider the following criteria:
- Documented participation in medical-related volunteer work,
- Completion of a medical profile class at the Mieszko High School, 18 Świerzawska Street, Poznań,
- Status as a graduate of Poznań Medical Academy in the fields of Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, or Physiotherapy.
