The first edition of this publication, entitled Identification
Forensic Identification Based on Written Language, to the creation of which the
was largely contributed by the then director of the Institute of Forensic Expertise
Forensic Institute in Krakow, Aleksander Glazek, spread very quickly. Since
its publication, several years have passed and getting into possession of a
copy of this book has become impossible. Also from the inspiration of
Director Glazek came up with the idea of not only reissuing the monograph published in
2000 monograph, but also to enrich and expand it with those
issues, which for forensic research - regardless of their
subject - are of paramount importance when one wants to make
