On June 6, there was a scientific conference organized by PAM - "Indivisible Health - interactions with mental health" (stationary
and online). The main theme of the conference was the idea of indivisible health - the health of the
of the patient and the health sector as a whole. According to the World Health Organization's definition of health, the three spheres of health (physical, mental and
social) intermingle and interact with each other.

The health sector has recognized the need for care coordination in somatic diseases. Beginning in October 2022, a coordinated care program was launched in primary health care by the National Health Service, which has been met with great interest by primary care providers. A challenge that still awaits a systemic solution is the inclusion of mental health specialists in coordinated care.

Prominent scientists and practitioners representing public health, medicine, telemedicine, health security, psychology, philosophy and theology accepted the invitation to give lectures at the conference.

The Polish Society for Telemedicine and e-Health is a supporting partner of the conference.

We hope that the conference "Indivisible Health", which emphasizes the idea of indivisible health and promotes an interdisciplinary approach in health care research and practice, will be the first in a series of such conferences.
