On May 24, 2017, at the seat of the Mieszko I Higher School of Pedagogy and Administration in Poznań, in the building of the University at Świerzawska Street, a scientific conference entitled “Language and slang in social communication – masters of word and action” was held. The conference was opened and invited guests, teaching staff, students and pupils of schools in the city of Poznań were welcomed on behalf of the Founder – Chancellor of the Mieszko I Higher School of Pedagogy and Administration in Poznań and His Magnificent Rector of the Higher School of Pedagogy and Administration, by His Magnificent Rector’s Proxy, Barbara Gumińska, MA
