Information about the Office for People with Disabilities
The Mieszko I Medical University of Poznań (formerly WSPIA), through its Office for Students with Disabilities, endeavours, as far as possible, to ensure that students with disabilities are provided with appropriate conditions for admission to the university, for their education and for carrying out academic research. We pay particular attention to adapting classes to take into account the specific needs of people with disabilities when planning and delivering the teaching process, taking into account the degree and type of disability.
Thanks to the efforts of the National Centre for Research and Development – specifically the ‘Accessible University’ programme, funded by the European Funds under the Operational Programme Knowledge, Education and Development (PO WER) – the university is constantly introducing numerous measures designed to make life easier for people with disabilities on campus.
Ms Małgorzata Biskup, MA – the Rector’s Representative for Students with Disabilities – is responsible for matters relating to students with disabilities at the Mieszko I Medical University of Poznań (pelnomocnik.dson@pam.poznan.pl, room 200).
