The Prince Mieszko I Medical University of Poznań, in collaboration with the ‘Najpierw Emocje’ Foundation, invites you to a scientific conference on the role of emotional intelligence in the face of the challenges of the modern world. The event will take place on 6 December 2025 at the University’s premises at 43 Św. Michała Street in Poznań.
The conference will provide a forum for researchers, practitioners, teachers, therapists, students and anyone interested in how emotions influence the learning process, decision-making, social relationships and human functioning in the context of the rapid development of technology and artificial intelligence.
The presentations will cover, amongst other things, the following topics:
- People, emotions and education in the age of AI – on the role of emotions in the educational process and the challenges associated with the development of artificial intelligence.
- Nature, power and communicating emotions – what emotions are, how to recognise, name and express them in our relationships with others.
- The Multifaceted Nature of Emotions – an examination of emotional intelligence from the perspectives of psychology, neuropsychology, education, health sciences and management.
