Purpose of study
The aim of the course is to familiarise students with the field of child and adolescent psychology, both in the context of healthy development and developmental risks. The skills acquired will enable students to improve their ability to support the development of those in their care, particularly in situations of developmental crisis.
During the course, participants will acquire skills that are essential both for stimulating development and for effectively dealing with the various problems that arise during childhood and adolescence.
Graduates will be prepared to work in:
- educational and care and educational institutions,
- psychological, educational and vocational counselling centres,
- training companies,
- psychoeducation in the broadest sense,
- the sector comprising institutions and venues involved in the development of children and young people.
Addresses
The course is aimed at teachers and educators, as well as those involved in providing psycho-educational support to children and young people in the broadest sense (including: assistants and family support workers, social care workers, and specialist staff at children’s homes, family-style children’s homes and educational care centres).
Curriculum
The program includes 2 semesters of teaching, consisting of:
- 220 teaching hours
Classes are held in a hybrid format once or twice a month on Saturdays and Sundays from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, and online via Zoom.
Fees
Tuition fees: 10 instalments of 550 zł
The entry fee is 85 PLN
