Get to know our science clubs
Student Scientific Clubs of PAM
Scientific groups are groups of students who jointly carry out research projects, organize conferences and workshops, and also take part in competitions. Thanks to this, they can develop their passions, gain valuable experience and establish contacts with other students and scientists.
Student Scientific Club “Laryngoskop”
The group was established at the Academy of Applied Sciences named after Prince Mieszko I in Poznań in May 2022. It is an initiative of students of Emergency Medical Services. We were encouraged to this activity by the need to deepen knowledge and awareness of how important practice is if we want to save human health and life. Only a combination of reliable knowledge and practical skills, especially in the field of medical rescue activities, will allow us to act professionally. The patient will always be in the center of our interest, the desire and need to help is therefore the main driving force of our actions.
If you need to provide medical assistance (not necessarily as a paramedic), and you feel that your knowledge and skills in the field of rescue are something you can do well in: work with us!
The substantive supervisors of the Club are:
Mr. Dr. n. med. Remigiusz Tritt
Mr. Dr. Bogusław Bałuka.

Student Science Club “FIZJOM” – Your path to scientific development
The “FIZJOM” Science Club was founded at the Poznań Medical University of Prince Mieszko I in November 2023, and our first meeting took place on January 10, 2024. Every student who is passionate about physiology and is ready for scientific challenges can become a member of “FIZJOM”. The aim of our Club is to prepare Members to participate in research projects that allow them to gain valuable experience in scientific work and to create and implement their own research projects, taking into account ethical and medical aspects. We cordially invite all physiology enthusiasts to participate in the work of the “FIZJOM” Student Science Club. Together we can achieve more, develop scientifically and acquire new skills that will open the door to a future scientific career.

Student Scientific Club “Mortui Vivos Docent”
The Mortui Vivos Docent Anatomical Club was established on September 9, 2021, and the first meeting took place on November 19. Any student who has completed an anatomy course, who is not afraid of challenges and is able to meet the high requirements set by the MVD can become a member of the MVD. We encourage students of the following majors to join the circle: nursing, emergency medical services, cosmetology, physiotherapy, physical education. Thanks to this diversity of majors and interests, MVD meetings abound in extraordinary discussions and substantive experiences – from clinical and sports anatomy to beautifying and rescue anatomy. We pay special attention to the history of autopsy, human anatomy in art and literature.
The aim of MVD is to acquire practical skills, both preparatory and scientific (searching, collecting and analyzing morphological, morphometric and clinical information from various databases and scientific sources), to acquire the ability to work in a research team, the ability to effectively plan and efficiently organize working time, as well as to prepare independent projects taking into account ethical and medical issues related to medical documentation (donor, patient), copyright and protection of intellectual values.
We cordially invite all enthusiasts of human anatomy to participate in the work of the Student Scientific Club Mortui vivos docent!

Student Science Club “Niepodzielne zdrowie”
The Student Research Group “Niepodzielne zdrowie” was established at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences in 2024. The group develops its activities in the field of education and scientific research inspired by the idea of indivisibility of health, both the patient’s health and the healthcare sector. Our activities focus on the topic of the interaction of somatic, mental and social health. According to the definition of health by the World Health Organization, the three spheres of health (physical, mental and social) interpenetrate and influence each other.
