Why Mieszko Academy?

Poznań Medical University of Prince Mieszko I is a modern university established in 2004. We educate several thousand students in first and second cycle studies and postgraduate studies. Classes are held in the form of full-time and part-time studies, using distance learning methods and techniques.

Availability

Our mission

Homines hominibus

The leitmotif of the Academy of Applied Sciences named after Prince Mieszko I in Poznań is the maxim homines hominibus (“people to people”), which directs the activities of the scientific and teaching staff and the university administration towards serving the interests of society and meeting its educational needs.

This mission is guided by the community consciousness of all university entities, i.e. students, academic teachers and other employees. The university creates conditions for the entire academic community to develop comprehensively, putting the well-being of students first.

Main building

Our Poznań headquarters consists of two modern buildings, which offer spacious lecture halls and specialist workshops. Here you will find, among others, workshops of anatomy, cosmetology, make-up, massage, emergency medical services, nursing, kinesitherapy, biophysics, microbiology, biochemistry, physiology and pathophysiology, physical therapy, manual therapy, physical exercise, first aid, hydrotherapy and SPA, sensorimotor skills, as well as computer labs, providing versatile conditions for learning and development.

Athlete-friendly university

We have multi-functional sports halls, a large gym and martial arts halls, as well as an athletics stadium.

Student internship locations

Our infrastructure also includes facilities where you can do your student internship. Our facilities include: Public Academic Primary School in Jastrzębsko Stary, Dom Sportowca Centre in Kwiejce, I Academic Primary School in Nowy Tomyśl, Private Academic Schools Mieszko in Poznań, Private Kindergarten Mumula and a centre in Chwaliszewo.
